URBAN SUNDIAL

This was a fun experiment: to turn any sunlit stopsign into a sundial. With a properly designed dial stencil (custom made for this latitude), and correctly aligned, the Urban Sundial can tell the time with the stopsign's shadow.

STENCIL CLOCK

Last Summer, I painted this on the wall of a friend's warehouse studio. The clock face (and the fake shadow) are spraypainted onto the wall, and the inexpensive clock element and hands came from a local craft store for $7.99.
