In a Japanese grocery store,
I spy these Boul'mich Macarons [sic].
Average looking macaroons.
No big deal.
Then I notice the bluish ones are labeled "SALT."

They are salt flavored.
Had to get one.
Tragically it didn't taste salty.
But I like the idea of salt as a legitimate dessert flavor.
Working on designs: salt sponge cake, salt sorbet, salt crepes.
It can happen.
I believe.
